Interview: Baptiste - 24 years old - Artistic Director

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is blue, I like the sky, I like the ocean, when I look at these things, I feel like I'm travelling.

What is the colour that represents you the most and why? I think the colour that represents me the most is the brown. Brown is adapting to everything with clothes, and I think I can adapt my skills with different people or different ways.

For you, what is the colour of sadness/hapiness/shame? In my mind, the colour of sadness is grey. I don’t like rain, and when it rains, the sky is grey. The colour of happiness is yellow, because it reminds me of sunshine. Shame’s colour in my mind is saumon, I don’t like this colour, this is a fade colour.

What does pink represent for you ?

In my opinion, pink is the colour of happiness, we often use this colour during parties.

In your job, what is the place of colour?

I’m an artistic director in an association which promotes actual music in Normandy. So colour is very important to me. We have to use colours in our communication (logo, poster, flyers,...) We need to choose a colour which will attract people.

Can you tell us a colourful memory?

I choose the mediterrean blue, because when I was young, I often went to Côte d’Azur with my family and this colour makes me remember of the time when we were diving with fishes in the sea.

Do you grant a lot of importance to colours within your clothes?

Not really, I always wear my clothes with blue or black jeans and a blue, grey or black sweat.
