Editorial
Colours are part of our life. The way that human beings discern colours is very different from the rest of the other animals on the planet. Our very specific way of watching them has made us admire them and it has encouraged us to find the very specific materials to use them in art. It is how we can see paintings with colors such as those existing in nature. We have decided to honor colours through a special event on March 11th. This page will be dedicated to show how colours have inspired us to create art.
DPEC students
This is a cultural project created by the M2 Direction of Cultural Projects or Establishments class,
with the help of the M1 students, at the Institut Denis Diderot in Dijon.
The members of our project opt for the theme “colours” after a vote between all the IUP students of the Institut Diderot. The fact that the topic of “colours” is a very universal matter could explain why it has been chosen by most of us. It is also very visual, and it is enriching to have a project around it.
The name of our project “Coolours” was chosen as a result of a common brainstorming in which both IAC and IPII classes participated in. We found it very straightforward and self-explanatory. Indeed, it is very clear that the topic of our project is colours. By writing this word with two “o”, we wanted to show that this project is entertaining and “cool”!
Under this presentation, you will find our blog. It is divided into different categories – introductions, museum, playlists, poems and videos. A group of a few students are responsible for each categories.
